St Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of our school. His feast day is the fourth of October. We are having a Mass today to celebrate his feast day. St Francis was born in 1182. His father was a wealthy man. St Francis was born in the town of Assisi in north central Italy. As a young man he gave up his wealth and devoted his life to the poor. He loved nature. He is the patron saint of the environment.
