Youth Charged With B+E


At approximately 12 o clock yesterday Gardaí were called to a house in Fairytale Road where a ‘breaking and entering’ occurred. The culprit was caught in the act but for legal reasons the youth cannot be named although we can say she has blonde hair, is 13 and lives at 214 Candy Lane. A furious Daddy Bear told reporters that the front door had been left open because they live in such a friendly neighbourhood. A statement from the Bears’ lawyer says the Bears will be seeking compensation for ‘an eaten bowl of good porridge, a broken mahogany chair and soiled bed sheets’. A distraught Baby Bear told reporters that he will never be able to leave the house again without fear of being robbed. A court case is taking place tomorrow. Before Christmas we interviewed Mrs.Farrelly, a woman who has lived in the area since 1958. As we interviewed Mrs.Farrelly Brendan Smith recorded us. Interviewing Mrs.Farrelly was very interesting as she knows a lot about the area.

Let's Put on a Show!

Thursday the 15th of January, Cherie paid a visit to our school. We were to begin preparation for the school show.The school show is called "Lets put on a show".Cherie taught us different dance moves and how to project our voice on stage. We all had a great time!

New Year Litter Picking

On Friday the 9th of January 2009 our class went litter picking. It was a bright sunny day but very cold. It was our first week back after the Christmas holidays. We managed to find lots of litter. We even found lots of unusual litter like socks!! Now the school grounds are a lot cleaner.
