Yesterday the 16/9/08 my class went outside to do a spider hunt. First we got a scooper and a pooter and went outside. A pooter is a plastic container with two straws for collecting minibeasts. We went looking behind the prefabs, on the grass, under trees, on the tree and in webs. When we had found some spiders we went to the other side of the school to look for more. We went around to the shed and got more spiders there and then we went inside. Back in the classroom we looked at the spiders and tried to identify them. Shane and Ronan found a spider in the bathroom! After that we went outside again and put the spiders back where we found them.
